    warm hospitality
    beautifully maintained grounds
    delightful breakfast
    price confusion
    lack of communication

Our stay was quite enjoyable, particularly because of the warm hospitality we received. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially during our time in the lounge. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the breakfast was delightful. This location is also ideally placed for exploring historic Vicksburg attractions like the Vicksburg National Military Park, which was just a short drive away.

    massive room
    beautifully decorated
    spacious bathroom
    dated areas
    old feel

The Deluxe Double Room was massive and beautifully decorated with vintage details. The bathroom setup was spacious, which I loved. The ambiance of the room really added to the historic feel of the place. Only downside was that some areas felt a bit dated, but it definitely had charm and character.

Gorgeous architecture, beautiful garden areas, historical accommodations

The lack of clear instructions for everything left us confused!!! The run-down surroundings and poorly maintained common areas really detracted from the experience!!! The steep and rickety stairs are something to reconsider!!!

great stay but prepare for stairs

The grounds were impressively maintained, with plenty of outdoor seating and a lovely pool area. I enjoyed a spacious suite that offered stunning sunset views from the porch.

Be ready for three flights of stairs to reach the room.

    large room
    fresh breakfast
    local history
    old stairs
    poor communication

I had an unexpected stay while driving from Dallas to Atlanta. The room was large and had a nice setup, including a sitting area and a king bed. The bathroom was spacious with a nice tub and shower. Breakfast was served fresh and delicious. I learned about the local history during my visit, which added to the experience. It helped me feel connected to American culture.

There were some concerns about the stairs, as they felt old and steep. The communication about breakfast options was not clear, leaving me unsure.

    winding staircase
    enchanting evening

Staying here was like stepping back in time! The original architecture is such a treat, especially the winding staircase down to the old wine cellar where my room was. I loved the charming historical vibe and the enchanting evening ambience! It truly felt like a unique getaway.

Felt like treated like royalty, nothing to complain about.

A surprising twist on our getaway

Staying in such a historic mansion was enchanting, especially while sipping mint juleps by the beautiful pool. The atmosphere just felt so alive and welcoming.

However, the stairs were quite steep and lacking in upkeep. It made getting to our room a bit more challenging than expected.

    Charming Stay Rich in History

I stayed for 1 night in a Deluxe Double Room with Bath, and the property was truly beautiful and historically rich. The staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and attentiveness, making our stay feel special. The room itself was spacious, featuring a large bathroom that added to the charm. One unique highlight was a Native American mound on the property perfect for stargazing. The only downside was that the restaurant could offer more variety for breakfast.

    spacious retreat
    delicious breakfast
    navigation anxiety
    floor stability concerns
    dim lighting

The Centennial Room was an extraordinary retreat with a spacious parlor, a king four-poster bed, and two fireplaces. Breakfast was a delightful treat, featuring homemade preserves alongside hearty sausage, eggs, and biscuits. Exploring the property’s history added a rich layer to the experience, making every moment feel significant. However, initial navigation through dimly lit stairs created an anxious atmosphere, and the age of the building led to some creaky floors that raised concerns about stability.

The Inn At Cedar Grove offers a splendid blend of historic charm and modern amenities. My room was spacious and tastefully decorated with period antiques, creating an inviting atmosphere.
